• Exactly 8 years ago, Mariupol was liberated from Russian invaders for the first time. As Piotr Andryushchenko, adviser to the mayor of the city, recalled on his Telegram page, in fact, this day became the birthday of the Azov Regiment for Mariupol residents.
• Juvenile prosecutors: as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, 288 children were killed, more than 527 were injured. Children suffered the most in the Donetsk region – 218, Kharkiv – 166, Kyiv – 116, Chernihiv – 68, Lugansk – 54, Kherson – 52, Mykolaiv – 48, Zaporozhye – 30, Sumy – 17. The numbers are not final.
• Ukraine received 150 155mm howitzers from NATO countries. All of them are already used at the front, Yuriy Sak, adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, said in an interview with DW. According to him, for a counteroffensive, Ukraine needs 100 rocket-volley fire systems (the United States has so far promised to send only four).
• The night of June 13 was tense for the Dnepropetrovsk region. The Russian invaders hit the residential areas of the Zelenodolsk community from Hurricanes. According to the head of the region Valentin Reznichenko, preliminary, one person was killed, five were injured.
• Russian troops fired prohibited cluster munitions into Kharkiv. According to Amnesty International, fragments of 9n210/9n235 cluster munitions were found in the city. In addition, the researchers found multiple chips on the ground, consistent with the expected traces of such cluster munitions.
• The front is 2,450 km wide, of which 1,105 km are active hostilities. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
• Ukrainian authorities, even before the start of a full-scale invasion of Russia, told partner countries that the Ukrainian army needed modern missile defense systems.
