15-year-old suspect wanted by police in connection with two homicides found

A 15-year-old suspect wanted by Winnipeg police in connection with two homicides has been found. The police arrested him.

The teenager was wanted in connection with a series of attacks that took place in the Point Douglas neighborhood of Winnipeg on Monday morning and the murders of Danielle Ballantyne, 36, and Marvin William Felix, 54.

Earlier this week, police arrested another teenager. The latter faces charges of second degree murder and aggravated assault.

The body of Danielle Dawn Ballantyne was found in an apartment building in Point Douglas.

Marvin William Felix was assaulted at around 5 a.m. Main Street, between Logan Avenue and Higgins Avenue. He died Thursday, according to the police.

In the wake of the assaults on Dawn Ballantyne and Marvin William Felix, two other similar incidents were recorded Monday morning a few minutes from #x27; interval and in the same area, but the police are not able to say, at this time, if they are connected to the young people.

The investigation into this series of attacks is ongoing, but other suspects may be involved, Winnipeg police spokesperson Dani McKinnon said.
