A man shot and injured in the Snowdon neighborhood on Tuesday night

Police found the injured man in an apartment.

A man is in stable condition in a Montreal hospital after being injured in the lower body by at least one gun projectile at an apartment building in the southwest of the city late Tuesday evening.

The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) reports that the 30-year-old man was conscious when transported to the hospital.

The The incident was reported to the police at around 11:40 p.m. by a call to the 911 emergency telephone exchange. x27;intersection of boulevard Décarie, the police found the injured man in an apartment.

Residents of Snowdon saw a security perimeter deployed.

There were no suspects at the scene. The police nevertheless established a security perimeter and investigators showed up on site accompanied by forensic identification technicians.
