Arestovich: The West does not want the final defeat of Russia in the war
Advisor to the head of the President's Office Alexei Arestovich, commenting on the information that Western countries have agreed not to supply Ukraine tanks and attack aircraft, believes that Western partners do not want the final defeat of the Russian Federation in the war in Ukraine. Arestovich recalled that these weapons are the basis for successful offensive operations. The adviser to the head of the Presidential Office said this in a conversation with Russian lawyer and human rights activist Mark Feygin. According to him, such weapons would become the basis for successful offensive operations. – It is clear what is going on speech. Western countries do not want the final defeat of the Russian Federation. They want to force Russia into negotiations in order to make peace, Arestovich suggested. He also believes that European plans for a negotiated peace between Russia and Ukraine will not succeed. – It will be about the liberation by Ukraine of the entire territory by military means, or at least to the border line, which was before February 24th. Just for one simple reason. One day, a turning point will come – Russian troops will begin to withdraw from Ukraine on their own, as they retreated from the Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv regions. Understanding the futility, they will begin to retreat, – Arestovich explained. Earlier, Arestovich said that the West needs a weakened “Putin's regime”, and not a total defeat of Russia in the war.
