The SPAL arrested Alexandre Leclaire last Wednesday, and he has been detained ever since.
A man suspected by police of sex crimes may have multiple victims, and if that is the case, the Longueuil agglomeration police department (SPAL) hopes to be able to communicate with them.
Last Wednesday, SPAL's Sex Crimes Team arrested Longueuil resident Alexandre Leclaire, 38, in connection with a police investigation which began last January.
Alexandre Leclaire was arrested by the Longueuil police in connection with sex crimes that he is suspected of having committed.
At the moment, Alexandre Leclaire faces charges of possession and distribution of child pornography and of having entered into an agreement with a third party in order to commit a crime of a sexual nature.
The suspect remains in custody since his arrest and will remain so until his release hearing which will take place at the courthouse Justice of Longueuil.
The SPAL takes advantage of the update of this case to remind parents to take a close interest in the activities of their children on the Internet and to exercise adequate parental control.
