European leaders who visited Kyiv last week discussed not only the supply of weapons to our country, and they were worried about the possibility of exporting grain and unblocking Odessa ports. Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the Head of the Presidential Chamber, said that mechanisms and methods for exporting grain were discussed at the meeting. “In this situation, we are fine, since we will receive currency, and the world will not die of hunger there,” he stated . Also, Arestovich commented on the supply of weapons to Ukraine, saying that the West does not have the weapons necessary for Ukraine's counter-offensive. According to him, there is a certain consensus in the West regarding the supply of weapons to Ukraine. p> “In fact, restrictions (in supplies – ed.) come to nothing, these are just the positions of individual countries. And, in principle, everything is supplied to us, contracts are concluded. That's not the problem. The problem is that the West does not have the necessary amount of weapons (to launch a counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – ed.), it must be produced, or weapons removed from storage and handed over to us – this takes months, ”he said.
