At night, Russia attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones: there are victims and wounded in Khmelnitsky

On the night of February 27, Russian invaders attacked the territory of Ukraine with 14 «Shahed» drones. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is reported that Ukrainian defenders managed to destroy 11 enemy drones.

The Kiev Regional Military Administration reported that air defense systems worked in the region late in the evening. In the morning, the KGVA clarified that nine enemy kamikaze drones were shot down over the city. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or hits on infrastructure facilities.

Head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Chaus also reported on the work of air defense in the Chernihiv region. The sounds of explosions were heard in Khmelnytsky and Zaporozhye.

In the morning, the mayor of Khmelnytsky, Alexander Semchishin, said that the enemy had dealt three blows to Khmelnytsky. As a result of an enemy attack, one person was killed, four more were injured. Residential buildings have been damaged, and firefighting continues. The mayor specified that the deceased was a rescuer of the State Emergency Service, whose life was cut short during the performance of an official assignment.

Anatoly Kurtev, Secretary of the Zaporozhye City Council, noted that two hits on a civilian non-residential infrastructure were recorded in Zaporozhye. Fortunately, no people were hurt.
