Bakhmut will continue to defend: Zelensky held a meeting of the Headquarters
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a regular meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on Tuesday. This was reported by the Office of the President.
The members of the Headquarters heard reports from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the commanders of operational-strategic groupings of troops on the current situation at the front.
Having reviewed the course of the defense operation in the Bakhmut direction, all members of the Headquarters expressed a common position on the further retention and protection of the city of Bakhmut.
The meeting also analyzed the provision of weapons and ammunition to the units of the defense forces on the front line.
The rates and volumes of equipment and weapons supply from Ukraine's partners and their distribution by groupings of troops were discussed separately.
The meeting was attended by Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kirill Budanov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov, commanders of the military branches and operational areas.
Members of the government, heads of law enforcement agencies and law enforcement agencies also took part in the meeting of the Headquarters.
