The United States and Germany say that Ukraine has time until autumn to recapture the occupied territories. If this fails or succeeds, but partially, pressure on Kiev to start negotiations with Russia will increase, Bild reports.
According to the tabloid, such conversations in the government circles of countries continue “behind closed doors”. Journalists write that they are “incomprehensible”, since the Ukrainian army has already repelled the attack on Kiev, de-occupied almost the entire Kharkiv region and Kherson.
Also, in their opinion, «any doubts guarantee Putin further stabilization inside countries and the fact that people really believe in the victory of Russia».
