British intelligence: Occupiers build 'Wagner Line' in Luhansk region to deter UAF's rapid counteroffensive

Russian mercenaries from PMC «Wagner» are building their line of defense in the occupied part of the Luhansk region in order to deter any imminent counter-offensives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is stated in the report of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain for October 23.

The pictures show a section of newly built anti-tank fortifications and trench systems southeast of Kremennaya in the Lugansk region. If the plans are as big as Prigozhin claims, then the work will most likely be aimed at integrating the Seversky Donets River into the defense zone.

In general, this “project” assumes that Russia is making significant efforts to prepare defense in depth along the current front line, which is likely to deter a rapid Ukrainian counteroffensive.

  • Satellite imagery from Maxar Technologies shows that Russian mercenaries have built the two-kilometer «Wagner Line» near the town of Horske, Luhansk region.
