British intelligence: Russia deployed paratroopers from Kherson to Donetsk and Luhansk directions
Over the past two weeks, Russia has probably redeployed the main units of the Airborne Forces to the Donetsk and Luhansk directions. This is stated in the intelligence report of the UK Department of Defense.
According to intelligence data, from September to October, most of the heavily weakened units of the Russian Airborne Forces were sent to defend the territory temporarily controlled by the Russian Federation to the west of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region.

Some paratrooper units were probably reinforced by mobilized reservists. While these reserves are poorly trained and likely to weaken the supposedly elite capabilities of the Airborne Forces, Russia is likely to deploy these units to sectors deemed particularly important.
Intelligence believes that potential operational tasks The Airborne Forces include support for the defense in the Kremennaya-Svatovo sector of the Luhansk region or the strengthening of offensive operations against the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region.
