Butusov: Russian air defense system is weakened, they cannot even organize the defense of strategic facilities< /p>

Russia cannot ensure the full deployment of its air defense systems around all important objects in the war zone. This was stated by journalist Yuri Butusov on the air of «Radio NV«.

«Russia has concentrated all its forces on covering its army groups in the territory Ukraine. They suffer big losses. If you look at the calculations of the Oryx portal, Russia has lost more than 80 anti-aircraft missile systems, various systems, additionally radars, various other air defense systems. Thus, they are significantly weakened. They cannot organize such a dense objective defense even of their strategic facilities», — the journalist explained.

Butusov called the situation very revealing when an unknown drone attacked the Russian air base in Kursk and destroyed a fuel depot that could not be extinguished all day.

«The Kursk base is located relatively close to the borders, much closer than Diaghilevo and Saratov. And there, too, air defense did not work. That is, the enemy does not have a density of air defense combat formations. They cannot ensure the full deployment of their air defense systems around all important objects in the combat zone. There are always some vulnerabilities. You can always find some opportunity to hit. And the enemy is weakened due to heavy losses in the Donbass»,— the journalist added.

  • December 5, explosions occurred at two airfields from where the Russian Federation launches missiles at Ukraine.
  • December 6, the Russian Federation announced a drone attack on the airfield in Kursk and a plant in the Bryansk region.
