A truck for causes under investigation ended up in the balance on the roofs of some warehouses in Caccamo in the Palermo area. The large vehicle is suspended and threatens a building where six families live. The carabinieri and the firefighters evacuated the building. Operations are still underway to try to remove the vehicle and avoid serious damage to the construction. At the moment the families are all out of their homes and waiting for the alarm to go off.

The firefighters will have to intervene with a large crane, but the times will not be short to remove the vehicle and return the residents to their homes. “We heard a loud roar around 8.30 – the residents say – It sounded like a big thunder. Then we were called by the carabinieri who invited everyone to leave the house. We are really worried because the vehicle could still fall and end up on the building. We are very worried. scared. We had to rush out of the house. It’s a morning we will never forget. ”

And a truck loaded with earth, whose brakes broke, crashed into a shelter of the Condorelli bar, in Belpasso. The incident happened around 11 this morning: the truck also hit the parked cars. The carabinieri, the traffic police and the 118 ambulances intervened on the spot. A passer-by would have been injured in the impact, transported to a hospital in Catania by helicopter. The carabinieri are looking for the driver of the truck who would have left after the accident and lost his tracks.
