Cherevaty: Russians cannot capture Bakhmut and continue attacks “by inertia”

Speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergey Cherevaty said that the Russians cannot capture Bakhmut and continue to attack «by inertia». He said this on the air of the telethon on Sunday.

«Now, in fact, they are tactically unable to complete the operation to seize the Ukrainian regional center of Bakhmut. Yes, there are very active battles there, they still continue by inertia, they probably make several dozen attacks, but they suffer huge losses», the speaker said.

Cherevaty added that the correct defense planning and the heroism of ordinary military personnel makes it possible to bleed the enemy and break his morale.

«Prigozhin's hysterical statements are probably an SOS signal to their leadership – he constantly says that shells to them not enough ammunition», Cherevaty said.
