Collision kills two in Saint-Bruno

A collision makes two  victims in Saint-Bruno


A tragedy occurred on Route 170, near Saint-Bruno, on Saturday evening.

A 65-year-old woman and an eight-year-old girl perished.< /p>

The violent collision took place around 9:30 p.m.

The 60-year-old was traveling in the opposite direction for a reason that remains unknown at this time. His vehicle collided with another in which the child was riding.

The woman was in the company of a teenager who escaped unscathed. The girl was with her parents who were also uninjured.

Highway 170 was completely closed to traffic for much of the night to allow police to analyze the scene of the collision. This artery was reopened around 6:15 a.m. Sunday morning.

The investigation by the Sûreté du Québec is continuing.
