Commander, Operational Command «South» Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Major General Andrey Kovalchuk arrived in the liberated Kherson. This was reported on the OK page on Facebook.
Passers-by on one of the central squares of the regional center greeted the commander with a standing ovation and applause.
«I thank you all for your patience, for what you endured and for what you did right here. Because without you, we probably would have been walking here for a long time, without your help, without your faith. Everything will be fine. We will rebuild everything, we will return everything», — Kovalchuk emphasized.
