Dalhousie man killed in Campbellton road trip

The RCMP is currently investigating the cause of the accident.

A 45-year-old man from Dalhousie, northern New Brunswick, was killed in a road accident in Campbellton overnight Thursday to Friday.

On July 22, at approximately 3 a.m., officers from the Campbellton RCMP Detachment and firefighters from the Campbellton Fire Department attended Vanier Street in Campbellton, where the incident occurred.

The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the incident.

According to information provided by Corporal Réjean Richard, of the Campbellton RCMP detachment, the vehicle rolled over after leaving the road.

The New Brunswick Coroner's Office is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.

The RCMP continues to investigate this exit from the road in order to x27;establish the cause, and an autopsy will be performed in order to determine the exact cause of the man's death.
