Danilov advises not to call Russians “orcs and pig dogs”
NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov appealed to Ukrainians not to call Russians by fantasy names, but to remember what «Russia and Russian» are. He announced this on his Facebook page.
«We should probably not get too carried away with the use of new terms — orc, rusnya, pig dog… No need to blur the image of the enemy, so to speak. We write and immediately document for history: «Russian», «Russian», «Russia» — killed, assaulted, robbed, raped, destroyed, lied», — writes Danilov.
He noted that it is worth writing this way so that it is forever imprinted in Ukrainian historical memory which people bear full collective responsibility for the bloody war, and so that Ukrainians will never forget « ;all the abomination of the Russian «brotherhood»».
In the comments, political scientist Sergei Bykov recalled that the Verkhovna Rada recommended using the term “decisives”.
«I must note that this position is completely balanced and pragmatic, because we must introduce a single name for this terrorist regime. We do not simply call Nazis Germans, but simply Italians. Here the logic is the same. Moreover, the highest level of semantic warfare is the war for the right to give names to events and phenomena», — he explained.
