Danilov: The Russians do not have the strength to capture Kyiv, but they will try to go west

NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov said that the Russians do not have the strength to capture Kyiv, but they will try to cut off the supply of weapons to Ukraine in the western regions. He said this in an interview with Report's East European Bureau.

«They don't have the strength to capture Kyiv. Moreover, our society will not allow it. As for the western regions, they will try to cut off our arms supply lines. We are ready for such a scenario, we understand what is happening and will give a worthy rebuff,” Danilov said.

He noted that when the active phase of the war with Russia began on February 24 « then no one believed in us, everyone believed that in a short period of time we would lose this war and be destroyed.

We have proved that we are capable of defending our country, and we will continue to defend it in the future. Moreover, we will return all our historical territories.
