Danilov: Ukraine sees no threat of attack by Belarusian troops

Danilov: Ukraine does not see the threat of an attack by Belarusian troops

Today, Ukraine does not see the threat of an attack from the territory of Belarus, because there are not enough forces and means to carry out such an offensive, which took place on 24 February. This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov, Radio NV reports.

– We know about the means of destruction that are concentrated there today. This issue is under constant control of the President. We understand everything that is happening on the territory of Belarus today,” Danilov emphasized.

He also noted that Ukrainian intelligence is closely following all the processes on the territory of Belarus. Today there are no such threats, because there are not enough forces and means on the territory of Belarus for a counteroffensive against Ukraine.

The concentration of Russian troops, as it was before February 24, is absent in Belarus today. According to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, the Russian troops fled through Belarus and did not stay there, but were redeployed in the overwhelming majority to the Donetsk, Luhansk and Kharkiv directions.

Earlier, President Vladimir Zelensky ordered to check four regions in case of a second invasion from Belarus.
