Danilov: Yanukovych was imprisoned in Minsk on March 7 because it was the Russian deadline for capturing Kyiv

The fugitive ex-president Viktor Yanukovych flew to Minsk on March 7, as by that day the Russians expected to capture half of Ukraine along with the capital and send their puppets there to form a pro-Russian & #171;government». This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov in an interview at the telethon.

According to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, the Russians had two plans. The first is to occupy the left-bank part of Ukraine with Kyiv until March 7 at the latest. Danilov stressed that it was on that day that Yanukovych was in Minsk, since he supposedly should have been in Ukraine at that time.

The next step, according to the NSDC Secretary, is the Russians they wanted to capture all of Ukraine up to Lviv and hoped to do it in 19 days.

Danilov emphasized that it was impossible to fully prepare for a full-scale war, but the entire NSDC apparatus began to prepare in December 2019 «very, very powerful».

«If the state had not been ready for war, then in three to five days the Russians would have had the success they were counting on», I am sure Danilov.
