Martin Lampron, former co-owner of the Carlito restaurant (now La Maison de Débauche ) passed away
The restaurant industry in Trois-Rivières is in mourning. Martin Lampron, former co-owner of the restaurant Le Carlito (now La Maison de Débauche) has died in the last few hours.
Perceived as a mentor by many chefs and restaurateurs in the region, Martin Lampron had decided to leave Trois-Rivières during the pandemic, selling his shares in the institution to businessman Georges Brunelle.
After a few months dedicated to the construction of his new home in the middle of nature, he plunged back into the culinary adventure by launching L'épave Grandes-Piles, a restaurant on the banks of the Saint-Maurice River on June 16.
The restaurant will be closed for an indefinite period. Martin Lampron was 44 years old.
