Disqualified “Miss Ukraine 2018” Didusenko posed with the flag of Ukraine at the parade in Los Angeles

Disqualified

Deprived of the crown “Miss Ukraine 2018” Veronika Didusenko took part in the Hollywood Pride Parade in Los Angeles, where she spoke in support of Ukraine. Together with the famous American human rights activist Gloria Allred Didusenko, she drove by in a car with Ukrainian symbols, holding the flag of Ukraine.

– I respectfully and happily accepted an invitation from Gloria Allred to join the LA Hollywood Pride Parade. Each year, Gloria's car, her clothes, and the people marching by the car have a theme. This year the theme is Ukraine! Thus, Allred decided to demonstrate her support for Ukraine in its struggle for freedom, independence and the path to Ukraine's victory in this war. My son Sandrik also took part in the parade with me. Veronica said.

According to Didusenko, the clothes of the people who were in Gloria Allred's car and marched nearby were in yellow and blue colors, cars with branded banners and a cover of Laura Branigan's track “Gloria”, recorded specifically for the march, also attracted attention.

< p>– We made the first Ukrainian-English cover of this song, raising the topic and talking about the war in Ukraine, that it needs to be covered, that Ukraine is fighting and Ukraine will win. We all believe in it. In just two days, the team and I created everything: the text was written by a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Nikolai Kulinich, we recorded a song performed by the singer Kler at the studio, and made arrangements. The song “Gloria” sounded during the march of our team in Hollywood at LA Pride and people around immediately sang along with us. It was a historic moment. Gloria Allred, Pride Parade, my son and I, we all sang a song in support of Ukraine – Glory to Ukraine, – the beauty added.

As Veronika herself admitted, this is not her last action in support of Ukraine. Didusenko is going to take part in advocacy campaigns to protect our country.

Veronika Didusenko was recognized as the winner of the Miss Ukraine contest in 2018, but the title and crown were taken away from her. After the award, it turned out that the beauty is married and has a child, which is contrary to the rules of the competition. In a conversation with Katya Osadchaya, Didusenko admitted that her first husband lives in America, and she is raising her son herself. In 2021, Veronica sued the organizers of the Miss Ukraine pageant to regain her title. In the same year, she married for the second time to the owner of a consulting company and political strategist Gennady Kurochka.

American human rights activist Gloria Allred has been fighting for the protection of women's rights for almost 50 years and is leading high-profile cases in this area. Since Donald Reagan, there has not been a single president of the United States of America who has not heeded the advice of human rights activist Gloria.
