“DPR” collects data of native defenders of “Azovstal”

The "DPR" collects data from native defenders of "Azovstal"

Russian servicemen are trying to manipulate relatives of the Ukrainian military who are held captive by the Russians. This is reported by the Association of Families of Azovstal Defenders.

– In the self-proclaimed “DPR”, they allegedly elected an “ombudsman” for human rights, who will either call the hotline or keep in touch with relatives by mail Ukrainian prisoners. The so-called “ombudsman” promises families to help find out the fate of the prisoners, their whereabouts, state of health, and also get in touch with the prisoners themselves, the message says.

As noted in the Association, by calling or writing to the so-called “ombudsman ”, a prisoner’s relative voluntarily transfers his data to the so-called “DPR”.

– Thus, the FSB of the Russian Federation collects data from the families of Ukrainian prisoners of war and prisoners of war in order to manipulate their fate in the future and keep relatives under its influence, – the relatives of our defenders stressed.

Earlier, relatives and close friends of Ukrainian servicemen captured by Russian troops or missing after the defense of the Azovstal plant in Mariupol stated that they had practically no information about their whereabouts. The Ministry of Internal Affairs assured that Ukrainian intelligence keeps in touch with our fighters and has information about their condition in captivity.
