
Drugged driving on the Charest highway at rush hour

A 23-year-old man could be charged with drug-impaired driving after causing an accident on Tuesday morning on the #x27;Autoroute Charest, in Quebec.
Around 7:15 a.m., a citizen reported to the authorities the presence of a driver with erratic driving on this very busy highway in rush hour.
Even before the arrival of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) officers, the erratically driving driver had crashed head-on into a guardrail near Einstein Street.
The motorist, who was alone in the vehicle, rolled over at least once following the impact. He was taken to a hospital in the region, where there are no fears for his life.
The man should nevertheless face charges of driving while impaired by drugs as a result of blood samples. We still do not know what substances were in his body.
