Duda: The next few months will be decisive for the future of Ukraine

Polish President Andrzej Duda said that the next few months will be decisive for the future of Ukraine. He made such a statement during the session «Restoring Security and Peace», held as part of the World Economic Forum in Davos, writes Polish Radio.

Duda noted that Ukraine wants to be part of the Western democratic world : “I am afraid that in a few months, perhaps weeks, the key moment of the war in Ukraine will come. This moment will answer the question of whether Ukraine will survive. Poland understands Ukrainians. We know that they want to be part of Western society. They want to be part of the European Union and NATO, but first they have to endure.”

The Polish President again turned to Western countries with a request to transfer weapons to Ukraine. «The voice of Ukraine is important for us, and we must listen to it», — he added.
