Edmonton attack: one dead and two seriously injured, police say

The suspect, a man with a knife, is considered dangerous. Police are asking the public to avoid the Homesteader neighborhood in northeast Edmonton and stay in a safe place.

The alleged perpetrator is described by police as a fair-skinned man with curly hair. He was dressed, at the material time, in a dark hoodie worn over a gray shirt. Police believe he carried out the attacks randomly.
