Estonian intelligence: Russia may continue massive missile attacks for more than six months
< p> According to the most pessimistic scenario, Russian missile attacks on Ukraine may continue for another six to nine months. This was stated by the head of the intelligence center of the Estonian Defense Forces, Colonel Margo Grosberg, ERR reports.
«From our most optimistic point of view, these are the next three to four months, or until spring, and from more pessimistic, six to nine months», — said Grosberg, speaking about how long missile strikes by the Russian Federation can continue.
The Colonel drew attention to the fact that the duration of such attacks by Russia depends on two factors.
< p> The first factor Grosberg called the number of missiles that Russia had before the start of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. According to him, we are talking about about 2,500 missiles.
«From half to two thirds were spent. But, as the last fragments of missiles show, Russia continued to produce missiles throughout the war in addition to those that were in warehouses & # 187;, & # 8212; he explained.
At the same time, the number of high-precision missiles fired has declined. So, if in October Russia produced a three-digit number of missiles in Ukraine, then since November the average monthly figure has been double-digit.
According to analysts, Russia managed to produce another 65 Kh-101 missiles in six months. Grosberg emphasizes that this indicator indicates that high-tech elements continue to arrive in the Russian Federation. This means that precision-guided munitions are being produced and will likely continue to be produced for a very long time to come.
