Eurovision 2022 names the second ten countries-finalists

The second ten finalist countries were named at Eurovision 2022

Turin hosted the second semi-final of the Eurovision 2022 song contest, which resulted in the decision second ten finalists. Of the 18 participating countries, representatives of Belgium, the Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Poland, Finland, Estonia, Australia, Sweden, Ruminia, and Serbia received a ticket to the grand final.

According to the voting results of the jury and the audience, representatives of Ukraine, Switzerland, Armenia, Iceland, Lithuania, Portugal, Norway, Greece, Moldova and the Netherlands went to the final after the first selection. All of them will also compete for victory with the participants of the founding countries of the contest – France, Germany, Great Britain, Spain and the winner of Eurovision 2021 Italy. The grand finale of the show will take place on May 14.

This year, our country is represented at the competition by the Kalush Orchestra with the song “Stefania” in Ukrainian, dedicated to the mother of the band's frontman Oleg Psyuk. The band's performance also features national ornaments, lighting in the colors of the flag of Ukraine, as well as huge female hands and eyes.
