Ex-president of France Hollande wrote a book about the “martyrdom of Ukraine”
Former French President François Hollande has prepared for publication a book about the war in Ukraine entitled “Shock: Understanding the New World Order”. According to Le Figaro, it is due out on September 7 and is a story about the geopolitical changes caused by the war in Ukraine. – The martyrdom of Ukraine, as everyone knows, opened a new chapter in world history. On the one hand, a terrible dictatorship that has decided to impose its laws on a neighboring independent country, on the other, a people striving for freedom, supported by a coalition of the planet's great democracies, the presentation of the publication says. Hollande wonders if they come to the decline of democracy and are they in danger of the onslaught of tyranny? Francois Hollande led France in 2012-2017. Prior to that, he published a book about his presidency “Lessons of Power”, as well as political essays “Response to the Democratic Crisis” and “Confrontation”. During his tenure, Hollande tried to resolve the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. In February 2015, he participated in the negotiations in Minsk together with the then President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Putin. These events are reflected in Hollande's book “Lessons of Power”.
