General Yagun: Russian strike on the US embassy in Kyiv would mean a declaration of war

Reserve Major General of the Security Service of Ukraine Viktor Yagun responded to the calls of Russian MP Yuriy Shvytkin to launch a missile attack on the US Embassy in Kyiv. According to him, such actions of the Russian side would mean a declaration of war on America. He stated this on the air of the All-Ukrainian telethon.

– This is a man whom no one has ever listened to in life. That is, this person made a statement and now we all know that there is such a deputy in the State Duma, and we know the level of his intelligence. Everything is very simple, if they start bombing the embassy of the United States, then this is a direct declaration of war on Russia against the States. If they want it, then it’s good, what can we do, we can’t do anything, they all went completely crazy there, – Yagun said.

We are talking about a statement by State Duma deputy Yuri Shvytkin, in which he called for an attack on the US embassy in Kyiv after the first HIMARS high-mobility rocket artillery systems arrived in Ukraine. The Russian deputy believes that the supply of HIMARS to Ukraine allegedly leads the world to a third world war, and Russia should “strike back at the decision-making center” – the US Embassy.
