The former leader of the terrorists «DNR» Igor Girkin (Strelkov) announced his return from the occupied territories of the Donetsk region to the Russian Federation. He wrote about this in Telegram.
«Attempt No. 3 to take a direct part in the hostilities against the armed forces of respected Kyiv partners (they are now called some «militants« 187;) was not successful, although it was very close to it», — he wrote.
According to Girkin, at the end of the first decade of October, he arrived in the occupied territory of the Donetsk region, appeared at one of the «military commissariats» separatists, where he wrote a statement asking for & # 171; voluntary mobilization into the ranks of the Sun & # 171; DPR & # 187;.
After that, says Girkin, he was enrolled in the «marching company of the N-th motorized rifle brigade of the 1st corps of the nm «DNR» for subsequent assignment to an unnamed battalion «N-th Infantry Regiment». He was also given a corresponding temporary ID.
Subsequently, he made a number of working trips, during which he visited occupied Donetsk several times, in November & # 8212; in the area of the city of Svatovo, where & # 171; a little more than 10 days he tried to fulfill the duties of the chief of staff of the battalion & # 187;. The terrorist clarifies that he was not under fire.
At the end of November, Girkin found out that he did not hold a position in his battalion, and in general was not listed in the states of the «N-th regiment» . In this regard, he accused the so-called «command» regiment and battalion in fraud.
As a result, Girkin allegedly handed over the machine gun, pistol, grenades and ammunition issued to him (the battalion is not at the front and even in the front-line zone, and it is not known when it will be there and whether it will be at all) and «departed where he thought fit». The terrorist specified that he returned to Moscow on December 5.
- In October, information appeared that Girkin (Strelkov) had allegedly gone to fight in Ukraine, while tens of thousands of dollars were promised for capturing him .
