GUR: Russia does not have the resources for a new large-scale offensive on the anniversary of the invasion
Russia does not have the resources for a new large-scale offensive on the anniversary of the invasion. This was stated by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Chernyak in a comment to the Kyiv Post.
According to Chernyak, Russia does not abandon plans to launch an offensive in the coming weeks and is now trying to find weaknesses in the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, according to the GUR, “the Russian command does not have sufficient resources for large-scale offensive operations.”
He added that Russia's full-scale offensive began on February 24 last year and continues to this day.
- On February 2, Chernyak announced that Putin had given the order to capture the entire Donetsk and Luhansk regions by March.
