In Kyiv, introduced a “silence mode” – loud music and fireworks are prohibited

The use of fireworks and loud music was banned in the capital. The corresponding order was signed by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Nikolai Zhirnov.

According to the document, the people of Kiev were obliged to observe the regime of silence in the capital. the order states that in the context of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine and the expectation of missile strikes, “non-compliance with the silence regime negatively affects the psycho-emotional state of the inhabitants of Kyiv.” in public places regarding fireworks, fireworks, other pyrotechnic events, loud singing.

In early June, President Volodymyr Zelensky supported an electronic petition asking more than 25,000 Ukrainians to ban the use of pyrotechnics. The authors of the appeal also propose to close all pyrotechnics stores in the country, and fine violators in the amount of 15,000 hryvnia. Later, the relevant bill was submitted to the Rada.
