In the Bakhmut direction, the border guards repulsed the assault and captured the positions of the Russian invaders with a counterattack. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

«Russian invaders, under cover of artillery, tried to capture one of the advanced positions of our defenders. However, the assault failed»,— the message says.

It is reported that during the battle, the border guards destroyed 9 invaders, wounded about 20 more.

The defense forces advanced 300 meters and are fixed in new positions, added to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
