Eurovision 2022 winners Kalush Orchestra will record a joint song with British singer Sam Ryder, who took second place in the song contest. Oleg Psyuk, the leader of the band, spoke about this in an interview with Metro. – We have already discussed this with him and plan to release our musical work in the near future. British Sam Ryder also hinted backstage of the competition that they from the Kalush Orchestra are preparing a surprise for Eurofans: “So maybe we will release something together, we discussing it.” Ukrainian group Kalush Orchestra won Eurovision 2022 with 631 points – 192 from the jury and 439 from the audience. On stage in Turin, the band performed the song “Stefania”, dedicated to the mother of soloist Oleg Psyuk. Sam Ryder came in second with a total of 466 points for his performance with “Space Man”. Ryder is 33 years old. He is a musician and blogger. More than 13 million users have subscribed to his Tik Tok page. Earlier, the Kalush Orchestra sold the Eurovision statuette at an auction for 900 thousand dollars. The team will direct the proceeds to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
