28 drones flew towards Kyiv on the morning of October 17. Thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, air defense, most of the flying terrorists were shot down. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko.
«Only 5 explosions sounded in Kyiv. One of them — in a residential building in the Shevchenko district. Rescuers continue extinguishing the building's structures and clearing debris. Previously, 18 residents of the house were rescued. Two were under the rubble. The body of a deceased woman was recently recovered. And then they rescued one elderly woman», — he said.
According to preliminary data, one more person is under the rubble. Search and rescue operations continue, Klitschko added.
