
Knife Attacks in the James Smith Cree Nation: Two Suspects Wanted
RCMP asks residents to call 911 if they see suspicious people in their area.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police Canada (RCMP) of Melfort has issued a Dangerous Persons Alert across Saskatchewan after a series of stabbings took place in the James Smith Cree Nation.
RCMP say there are multiple victims, in different locations, including James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon.
Residents are asked to stay sheltered in their homes and to be wary of strangers seeking to enter their homes. You are advised to avoid approaching strangers or getting a hitchhiker into your vehicle.
Sent at 8:20 a.m. Sunday, the alert says the two suspects, Damien Sanderson and Myles Sanderson, are said to be in a black Nissan Rogue, with license plate 119 MPI, which justifies sending an alert to the whole of Saskatchewan.
Damien Sanderson is 173cm (5'7ft) tall, weighs 70kg (155lbs), has black hair and brown eyes.
Myles Sanderson He is 6'1' (1.85 m) tall and weighs 240 lbs (108 kg). He also has black hair and brown eyes.
RCMP is asking residents to contact 911 if they see suspicious people in their area.
