Kuleba: RF may restore offensive attempts in January-February

< p>Russian troops may try to carry out a large-scale offensive against Ukraine in January-February 2023. This was stated by Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba at a briefing on December 13.

«I think that the Russian ability to launch a large offensive may be restored somewhere in late January-February – but that's what they're trying to do and what we're trying to prevent. So I'm not saying that it will definitely happen. But in the best case, given the mobilization, the call they announced, the training of new conscripts and the movement of their heavy weapons around the country — they clearly retain hope that they will be able to break through our defenses and move deeper into Ukraine»,— he said.

At the same time, Kuleba assured that Ukraine is doing everything to frustrate these plans. He believes that the Russians will not succeed.

The Minister also said that Ukraine is trying to end the war as soon as possible – but it is not known when it will end, although it would be great if it happens next summer.
