Kuleba: Russia imposes narrative about fatigue from Ukraine in Europe

Kuleba: Russia is imposing a narrative about Ukraine fatigue in Europe

Russia is imposing a narrative about Ukraine fatigue in the EU to highlight our inferiority. In fact, there is no fatigue in Europe, and granting Ukraine the status of an EU candidate confirms this. This was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba on the air of the national telethon.

– Well, how tired of Ukraine?! Yes, there is a solid holiday from Ukraine! Look, the head of the European Council tweets – congratulations, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, presented the opinion on Ukraine in a yellow and blue suit. Yes, there is no fatigue from Ukraine, forget this term altogether. I have always said before, now and I will always say: there has never been any fatigue from Ukraine, there is not and never will be. This is a Russian narrative imposed on us in order to emphasize our inferiority, that someone somewhere is tired of us, – Kuleba explained.

The Foreign Minister noted that the EU actually demonstrated what exactly it continues to determine the rules of the game on the European continent, not Russia, China or anyone else.

– The EU is the driving force behind the European continent. Today, on the contrary, they felt all the strength, energy, ability to make historic decisions… They reached a consensus on Ukraine, Moldova, and issues of extreme complexity. This gives them confidence in their ability to move Europe forward. Today, Europe has become stronger, – said Kuleba.

On Thursday, June 23, the European Council granted Ukraine the status of a candidate for membership in the European Union. Moldova also received this status.
