Lithuania was the first country to recognize the export of Ukrainians to Russia as the deportation of the Ukrainian people
The Seimas of Lithuania recognized the export of Ukrainians to Russia as the deportation of the Ukrainian people. With 50 votes in favour, Parliament adopted the relevant resolution and called on the international community to do the same. This is reported by DELFI. – From aggressive Russia, whether it was 80 years ago or today, we, alas, cannot expect anything new – the same crimes against humanity, expulsions, such politics and military aggression, which can plunge individual countries, and probably entire regions, into possible famine or other terrible things, – said one of the initiators of the resolution, Radvile Morkunaite-Mikulienene from the Conservative Party of Lithuania. In the resolution condemns the fact that more than a million Ukrainians were forcibly deported to Russia or to territories controlled by it in order to destroy Ukrainian identity. Among them are 200,000 children.
