The SPS had to intervene with the man in crisis.
A man in crisis required Monday the intervention of the Sherbrooke Police Department.
Around 2 p.m., the police were called to 11th Avenue North, where the individual threatened to kill them .
He allegedly had a propane tank at his disposal and threw objects at them.
A security perimeter was then set up in place and firefighters from the Protection Service Sherbrooke firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
After several hours of negotiation, the intervention group subdued the 42-year-old man, who #x27;turned out to be known to the police.
No one was injured, but the individual was transported to a hospital for an evaluation of his mental state. He could face charges for uttering threats.
