
Massive attack on Zaporozhye: occupiers fired 6 missiles from aircraft and about 16 from S-300 air defense systems
On the night of October 9, Russian occupying troops fired more than 20 rockets at Zaporozhye. The enemy used aviation and anti-aircraft missile systems. This was reported by the press center of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As noted, starting from 00.30 on October 9, six Tu-22M3 bombers operating from the Ryazan airfield and seven Su-35 — from the Marinovka airfield, Rostov region.
«The attack on Zaporozhye was delivered from the temporarily occupied territories — from the regions of Melitopol and Berdyansk. Four Kh-22 cruise missiles (with Tu-22M3) and two Kh-59 guided air missiles (with Su-35)», — the report says.
In addition, according to the Air Force Command, the enemy launched a missile attack with anti-aircraft missiles from the S-300 air defense system. About 16 rockets were fired at the city's civilian infrastructure and residential areas.
- At least 17 people were killed and 49 others were injured as a result of today's rocket attacks on Zaporozhye.
