Ministry of Defense: Mobilization in Ukraine will last until all units are staffed
In Ukraine, the mobilization of men of military age will take place as long as necessary for the understaffing of all units defending the country from the Russians. “Unian” writes about it. – Mobilization is inexpedient to be divided into some waves and stages. Mobilization is being carried out in accordance with the presidential decree and in connection with the introduction of martial law in Ukraine, – said the speaker of the Ministry of Defense Oleksandr Motuzyanyk at a briefing. According to him, mobilization activities are ongoing today and will continue until that time, until the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as units of other defense forces, are understaffed. The Russian invasion of Ukraine began on February 24th. Then President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization. According to the document, all men aged 18 to 60 are subject to mobilization. At the end of May, the Rada extended the period of general mobilization for another 90 days.
