Ministry of Defense: The night in Soledar was hot
At night in the city of Soledar, Donetsk region, there were fierce battles. This was announced by Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar.
«The night in Soledar was hot, the fighting continued. The enemy has thrown almost all the main forces on the Donetsk direction and maintains a high intensity of the offensive»,— she noted.
At the same time, the deputy head of the defense department stressed that the Ukrainian fighters are bravely trying to hold the defense.
- In the morning summary, analysts from the Institute for the Study of War ISW suggested that the Russian invaders probably captured the city of Soledar. However, they stressed that this would not lead to Bakhmut's encirclement.
