Ministry of Internal Affairs: Belarusian troops on the border with Ukraine are not enough to break through
Currently, about 4,000 Belarusian troops are stationed near the Ukrainian border. This is not enough to organize a breakthrough into the territory of Ukraine, said on the air of the telethon, said the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Vadim Denisenko, quoted by UNIAN. According to him, the number of Belarusian military is “minor, if we talk about attempts to break through to Kyiv, Chernigov or another direction where Ukraine borders on this country. Therefore, there is no talk of a possible assault or attack from Belarus. At the same time, the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that Putin and Lukashenka would meet in Minsk on June 22. It is possible that the president of the aggressor state will once again try to convince the Belarusian leader to involve his army in the war against Ukraine in order to help Russia. At the same time, Denisenko is convinced that Lukashenka will again try to get out. Russia attacked Ukraine on February 24th. To date, the war has been going on for 119 days. The occupiers are destroying Ukrainian villages, towns and cities, shelling them with cruise missiles and air bombs and killing civilians.
