The 29 regional Miss will tread the stage of Puy du Fou to try to win the prestigious crown of Miss France 2021. If all these young women must meet a very specific list of criteria, only one will be crowned national ambassador …
On December 19, we will finally know the face of the one who will succeed Clémence Botino, Miss France 2020 . During an evening organized at Puy du Fou, the twenty-nine regional Misses will parade in front of an exceptional jury and fifteen of them will be subjected to a few questions from the presenter Jean-Pierre Foucault . But what are the rules that must be observed to become Miss France ?
To be elected Miss France, you must be born female, even if in 2019, Sylvie Tellier expressed the possibility of accepting transgender candidates in the more or less near future. You must also be of French nationality and be between 18 and 24 years old on November 1 of the current year. Height is also a criterion closely examined since it is imperative to measure at least 1.70 m. On the legal side, all young Miss must have a clean criminal record.
At the top of the prohibited list, we obviously find the fact of having posed for photos totally or partially naked. It is also prohibited to promote erotic activities of any kind. You must not be tattooed (even if in fact some very discreet small tattoos are tolerated), nor pierced. Ideally, applicants should be single. They must not be married, in civil partnership, divorced or even widowed. Children are also excluded from the equation. Any recourse to cosmetic surgery is completely prohibited (only reconstructive surgeries are accepted). Finally, it is forbidden to have associated your regional scarf with political or religious propaganda.
The coronation of Miss France 2021 is Saturday December 19, 2020 from 9 p.m. on TF1!
