MTV Movie & TV Awards 2022: Best Kiss – With a Snake, J. Lo – Generational Recognition

MTV Movie & TV Awards in USA for services to film and television. The awards ceremony took place on the night of June 5-6 in California. High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens hosted the evening.

The triumph of the award was the series about the problems in the lives of teenagers “Euphoria”. It won four awards including Best TV Series, Best Performance in a TV Series (Zendea), Best Fight (Casey and Maddie) and Best Communication. Loki won Breakthrough of the Year and Best Team, while Spider-Man: No Way Home won two awards for Best Picture and Best Movie Performance (Tom Holland).

Vanessa Hudgens repeated the outfits of the heroes series and movies

Evening host Vanessa Hudgens changed several looks during the ceremony. So, the actress appeared before the public in a black mini-skirt and bodice from Versace, in a pink and gold mini-dress. She also repeated several outfits from TV shows and films: she came out in a top and a denim skirt, like the heroine of “Euphoria” Casey, and a leather dress and wig, like Selina Kyle in the movie “Batman”.

Boa Kiss

Best Kiss went to actor Sean McInerney, whose character kissed a snake in the movie Freaks Forever. During the award ceremony, a giant white boa constrictor was brought onto the stage for the artist to repeat the moment.

Two awards for J. Lo instead of one

Singer Jennifer Lopez unexpectedly received two awards. The actress was awarded a statuette for the “best song” from the film “First Man”, as well as an award for her contribution to cinema. On stage, the star thanked all those who supported her and “broke her heart”.

– I want to thank the people who gave me joy, and those who broke my heart. Those who were true to me and those who lied to me. I want to thank true love, and I want to thank the way I deceive myself, because that's how I realized that I need to grow, – said J. Lo. – Ben (Ben Affleck – Auth.) And everyone at home, wait for me for dinner. I'll be home by seven.
