Nobel Prize winner: If Ukraine protects everyone, where are the Leopard tanks for the Armed Forces of Ukraine | A PHOTO
On December 14, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Alexandra Matviychuk asked directly why Ukraine is not given modern weapons if it protects everyone. The head of the Center for Civil Liberties wrote about this on Facebook.
«If during the visits of Ukrainian delegations to the EU countries «everyone says»that Ukraine is fighting against Russian occupiers& #171;not only for Ukraine, but for the whole of Europe», why on the 11th month of the total war of the Russian Federation to destroy the Ukrainian state and people, the allies still did not supply Leopard tanks and other modern/effective equipment to the Defense Forces?&# 187; — said Matviychuk.
She noted that at a joint press conference with the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, she directly asked – if this is so, if Ukraine protects everyone, then «why my friend, Ukrainian defender Andriana Susak, hit a mine in a civilian car, while so many countries have armored vehicles in their warehouses?»
«Why does this ping-pong continue? with Leopard battle tanks?», she addressed the allies and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in particular.
