NYT showed Wagner PMC cemetery: Seven times more graves than two months ago

The cemetery in Stanitsa Bakuskaya, Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, which is used by PMC «Wagner» for the burial of dead mercenaries, over the past few months has increased by 7 times. This was reported by The New York Times, which analyzed satellite images and videos.

Journalists found out that there are already 170 graves in the cemetery. In addition, 21 columbarium walls with 42 niches in each were counted near the chapel near the base.

«Which suggests that hundreds of dead soldiers «Wagner» either buried there, or at least their memory is immortalized there. Whether they were all killed in Ukraine or somewhere else is not clear, but the video in any case shows the scale of the losses of & #171;Wagner», writes the NYT.

It is worth noting that Yevgeny Prigozhin confirmed at the end of December 2022 that the cemetery in Stanitsa Bakinskaya belongs to his PMC.

«There are graves of those who, for various reasons, wrote in their statement that in in case of death, he wants to be buried near the chapel of the Wagner» in the hot key. Since there are no burial places near the chapel itself, with the support of the administration of the Krasnodar Territory, a site was allocated in Stanitsa Bakinskaya», said the leader of the «Wagnerites».

< li>Olga Romanova, head of the Rus Seated charity foundation, believes that out of 50,000 Russian prisoners recruited by PMC Wagner to participate in the war in Ukraine, only ten thousand people remain.
